Trace Taylor is a Broadcast TV editor who has experience editing a mix of short-form, fixed-rig, live, obs doc, features, formats and documentaries. Many of these shows have gone on to be on the BAFTA and The Grierson nominated award list.
Alongside factual, Trace edits short form drama and feature docs. Many of these films have gone on to win awards worldwide including wins and nominations for editing. These films have screened at BAFTA qualifying festivals including the BFI London Film Festival and London Short Film Festival, Academy Award® Oscar qualifying festivals and Cannes Film Festival.
Recently she has just finished editing ‘Celebrity island with Bear Grylls’ and is just about to start editing Tessa Sheridans latest short film. Tessa has written and directed several short films which have won awards across Europe and the US, including the Palme D’Or at Cannes and the BBC award for Best Short Drama.
Trace is a Full member of the Guild of British Film & TV Editors and is part of the prestigious BAFTA Crew initiative programme designed to connect emerging ‘below the line’ talent to BAFTA-winners and nominees. She is represented by Holly Ryan at InCrowd Agency, London.
