Christiana is an award-winning drama director and have been selected for the BAFTA Elevate 2017 initiative. She was a mentee on Women in Film & Television’s 2015 mentoring scheme and graduated from the National Film & Television School. She has recently directed Grantchester, Soon Gone: Windrush Monologues, Call the Midwife, Father Brown and Holby City.
Over the last fifteen years she has directed many hours of drama series on British network television, including – Doctors, EastEnders, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale. Creative England and the BFI funded her to direct an Emerging Talent short film, Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote starring amongst others, Sir Lenny Henry, Wunmi Mosaku, Colin Salmon, and Arinze Kene. The film was long listed for Best British Short for the 2018 BAFTA Awards. It won Best in Fest at Triforce Short Film Festival and Earls Court Film Festival. She also directed a Film London Calling Plus short called, Support. These films are still on their festival run.
